Edge Task Explorer 2000 v1.2
The power users choice for window management

Powerful control over windows
IMPROVED! Multiple Desktops - Multiply your desktop size by five. You can now use up-to five desktops simultaneously! All desktops can be accessed from the Desktop Bar or from the system tray. Right-click your mouse over a desktop to drop down a list of applications running inside that desktop.
NEW! Protect Desktop - Protect any of the four standalone desktops with a password. All applications and windows stored in a protected desktop cannot be accessed without a password. This is an extremely convenient way to protect programs from other user's interference.
IMPROVED! Automate Tasks - Automate a button click, make a window stay on top when it is opened, or protect any application from being run. This is only fragments of what you can do with Edge Task Explorer's powerful scripting engine.
IMPROVED! Capsules - Link any window to a capsule and clean up your desktop. The capsule also frees the linked window's memory when it is being hidden.
Visible in Tray - Link any window to an icon in the system tray and remote control the window or application from there. Excellent way to quickly make available an application.
Task Explorer - Get a full list of processes, applications, windows and more! All lists are linked together so that you can easily jump from window to application and visa versa. There's also a view that lists what applications is running in what desktop.
Modifier - Enable disabled buttons, change a window's text, reveal passwords or just play around customizing the appearance of a window.
Lock Windows - Lock windows with a graphical shield. This graphical shield uses a graphical filter that you can customize.
Tray - All processes and applications can be easily accessed from the Edge Task Explorer tray icon.
NEW! Startup Manager - From the Task Explorer you can enable/disable, remove and add applications that should start silently with Microsoft Windows. You can choose that the application should start for a specific user or for all users.

Task Automation
Desktops - Automate to move an application or window into a specific desktop, make it a global window and whether or not the screen should move to the desktop.
Lock Windows - Specify that you want to lock windows whenever a specific window or application loads.
Priority - Set the priority of the process that owns the specified window or application.
Protection - Protect the specified window or application. Choose to use the administrator password or specify one specific to that application or window.
Startup - The specified window or application can be encapsulated, made available in the tray, hidden from taskbar, always on top, or not allowed to start.
Status - Set the display status of the specified window or application.
Clicking Buttons - Tell Edge Task Explorer 2000 to automatically click a button for you. Example: Shareware applications often display a reminder on startup. With Edge Task Explorer you can automate this clicking process to happen automatically, so that you don't have to push that same annoying button over and over again.
