Edge Task Explorer 2000 is an application that allows you to remote control any application or window on your screen. This is done via a small 'Capsule' that holds many buttons and menus. You can also make any application or window available in the system tray. Multiple Desktops, like in Linux, only with a little better control over the running applications and windows. All commands and procedures in Edge Task Explorer 2000 can be fully automated for any application, process or window you select. You simply enter the window name, or the executable file, that you want to automate and choose the tasks you want done with that application on start-up.

Have you ever irritated yourself over a dialog box that always makes you click the same button, over and over again? Now you can easily program Edge Task Explorer 2000 to do that job for you. Simply drag the Outeredge-icon over to a dialog box, choose the button you would like to click and it's done!

Automated actions can be used to protect windows/application or processes from being started by the wrong people. You can choose from enabling the user not to start or open the window/application or process at all, or you can simply password protect it. All features explained below and above can be fully automated. You can also globally automate windows, so that all applications receive their capsule or are made available from the tray.

In the same application there is a Task Explorer that allows you to get a full view of what is running on your computer. All applications, windows and processes are listed. There is also a small ‘Modifier’, which allows you to simply drag a small icon over (almost) any object on your screen, and modify it with lots of different commands.

Everything can be easily accessed via the system tray (as shown on picture above). All processes, applications and desktops are visible from the Edge Task Explorer 2000 tray menu.

There also a small 'Desktop Bar' that gives you full access to all of the desktops available with Edge Task Explorer 2000. Every desktop icon has a drop-down menu, which shows what applications and windows that belongs to that desktop.
