Edge Desktop Pro currently support three preview modes. The text view mode gives you detailed list of windows and applications running in each desktop. The screen copy mode copies the screen from each desktop and paints the screen on the preview window. The plotted window mode generates a list of all windows in each desktop, and draws each window with their icon inside on the preview window.

The text view mode also gives you information about global windows or applications that is visible in a desktop. It does this by highlighting the global windows with their global desktop's color. Just like on the picture above where 'Windows Task Manager' is from a global desktop with the color yellow.
