Introduction
Edge Desktop Pro is a virtual desktop utility that combines ease of use with a powerful set of features. Edge Desktop Pro allows you to create an unlimited number of desktops and, unlike other virtual desktop utilities, Edge Desktop Pro integrates into your Windows task bar. Because of this, it doesn’t take up unnecessary screen space and is always around when you need it. Edge Desktop Pro features never before seen desktop preview windows, a very advanced, yet easy to use, Desktop Manager, an Action Manager for desktop automation, and much more!

Secure window management
Edge Desktop Pro is the only virtual desktop manager available that offers
100% secure window management. This means that even if your system suffers a crash,
all your windows will be automatically restored to the correct desktop. |
Desktop preview
The desktop preview windows tell you what’s running inside the variety of desktops.
They also hold many nice and very useful features. You can
for example configure a certain desktop preview window to notify you of any
changes occurring inside the desktop. Whenever a change occurs, the desktop
preview window will flash. There are also several preview modes to show you
what’s inside a desktop. |
Automation
Edge Desktop Pro offers desktop automation in the form of actions. These
actions hold rules that tell Edge Desktop Pro where to move a certain window
or application. You can also configure an action to move all windows linked
to a specific executable, or all windows beginning, ending, containing or
matching a specific word or sentence. |
Customizable
Edge Desktop Pro is fully customizable. You can set up your own fonts,
colors, sizes, preview modes, transparency, fade speed, etc. Each desktop
can be set up with its own color, name and icon. Each desktop can also
have status as global or locked. A global desktop makes its content
available in all desktops. A locked desktop however, will ask for a
password that you assign to it. |
Easy to use
Edge Desktop Pro is very easy to use. It contains easy to use
wizards that will guide you through the process of creating a desktop or
an action. Help is always available by pressing F1, or using the '?'
button in the caption area. |

Availability
Edge Desktop Pro is currently online available for the
Windows 2000 operating system. We are working on versions for both Windows
98/ME and Windows NT4, but they will not have the same functionality as the
Windows 2000 version. Edge Desktop Pro is already compatible with Windows
XP.
